Time.

It’s been a long time coming, but in fact I saw it coming.

Everyone works at different paces. We all are at different times in our lives. We shouldnt compare each other, yourself with another.

I’ve read and been advised as such by so many people. I personally agree and live by that context, but in a situation/environment where you are being judged equally with others who are possibly “years” ahead of you, can get to you.

I guess competition, comparison, superiority and inferiority is part of life, if not life in general. We’ve literally been brought up and educated to compete with everyone else that some of us grew to be natural competitors, while others became individual workers, detest anything with the toxity that comes about competitiveness. Just like how some people are extroverts while others are introverts, some who are confident while others struggle with anxiousness and nervousness, some who work better under pressure and harsh critisicm while others need cheering and motivation.

We all have different ways of coping with situations. We all react differently to things. We all feel differently. We all function differently. We are all at different timelines.

Much so like most of my entries, this is first and foremost a reminder to myself: hear out what others have to say, but you be your own judge as to whether you’re ready for it, whether it’s the right time for you.

Xx
